About CorpNameCheck

CorpNameCheck is a free company name generator for people setting up a business in a specific country or free zone. Most name generators ignore where you register. We start from the jurisdiction: the legal suffix it uses, the words its registry restricts, its local domain, and what it costs to set up.

You describe the business and choose what matters most. Names come from an AI model (Anthropic's Claude) and from our own word bank of evocative words in ten languages, each with its meaning. For each name we check whether the .com and the local domain look free, using public registry data (RDAP and DNS). Naming rules come from official sources such as the Companies House sensitive words list, ACRA referral authorities and the DMCC name reservation rules. Setup costs come from registry fee schedules where they are published, and typical market prices where they are not. They are checked by hand and dated on each page.

The site is independent and is not affiliated with any registry, free zone or government. Nothing here is legal or tax advice, and the registry always has the final say on a name. The site is paid for by advertising.
